I bought this mirror when my daughter was an infant (rear facing) just put it in the back window and look through your rear view mirror and could see her just fine. Now she is 5 and I still use it(right under my rear view mirror) so I can still keep an eye on her and now she also looks in it to see me. I don't know what I would do without it.Buy Baby-In-View Auto Mirror!
