My one year old had trouble transitioning to those spout sippy cups so we got her these. She transitioned from bottle to sippy within a week. These are so easy to take apart and clean, make sure you get replacement straws though. I haven't had the liquid moving up problem that the above poster had, but my baby rarely leaves any leftovers.
