Although the bright colorful little squirter toys were fun for my son, after awhile - the water that was left in the little toys went stagnant and started molding inside the toy. If you don't empty the water from the squirters completely, you'll end up with foul smelling mold inside the toys. I would guess they need to be rinsed out really well after each bath. I have three sons therefore have three showers/baths every night and don't have time to carefully rinse these little toys.
We finally tossed them and are going for toys that don't get water stuck in them or you can rinse them out easier. Buy Munchkin Ten Squirtin Sea Buddies!
